Once in a while, we all must stop…in the Name of Love…before we break our hearts! And Whose Name is Love? My Bible tells me that God is LOVE! Personified and Glorified!
So, let’s all get in the habit of finding hope, resolutions, confidence, encouragement, determination, victories, celebrations, and optimism. And the only way to do that is to live by and practice the holy principals recorded throughout the biblical scriptures recorded in God’s Word.

Walt Disney said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.!”
The Holy Bible says: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:11-12
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalms 4:8

Judge Judy Sheindlin said, “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.”
The Holy Bible says: “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

Benjamin Franklin said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
The Holy Bible says: “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14:3

Pastor Robert H. Schuller said, “Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.”
The Holy Bible says: “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

Christopher Reeves said, “Don’t give up. Don’t lose hope. Don’t sell out.”
The Holy Bible says: “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:4

Poet Khali Gibran wrote: “Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.”
The Holy Bible says: “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Who do you trust…and who do you serve…God or man?

Scripture Lesson: “I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:1-4 NIV

Hello dear Dee. I”m blessed and highly favored. And you? Life is golden in my sight in spite of all of the tragic drama happening in our schools, in our political arena, in our economy and in our private lives. As we pray and look to our Maker let us not grow weary in well doing. Give thanks to the ONE who has the final say. Remember to walk by faith and not by sight. Amen!

What a wonderful reply! Yes, we are truly blessed and secure in the midst of chaos. Our God is good and He loves us so much! I’m glad you’re doing well. Maybe someday I can get your way and we can have lunch together. ♥ Blessings!

Hi Dee. Would love to share lunch with you one of these days. In the mean time, let’s schedule a ‘stay at home luncheon’. I got the idea from a church I use to belong to back in the day. They always had ‘stay at home teas’. I’ll buy your lunch and you can buy mine. In other words, we’ll go ‘Dutch’. How ’bout that? Red Lobster is one of my favorite restaurants.

It’s easy. We will make a date (preferably on a Sunday afternoon after church), make our lunches and invite anyone to join us.
Decorate and set up our tables for ‘high tea’. Call each other on ‘face time’. Introduce ourselves, giggle, introduce our guests, giggle, and then with pinky finger out stretched while holding our tea cups, take tiny bites on our sandwiches. How ’bout that? ❤

My Dear Sister,
Beautiful blog as always. I have Psalms 4:8 taped to my headboard and quote this often.
May God continue to bless you and give you His Words to guide us on our daily walk with Him. Your Shekinah Glory continues to shine all around you. Continue to trust and obey Him in all that you do.

Hello Cathy. I wish I had a picture of you in your slumber. It would have made this scripture more authentic with your testimony. I want you to know that you are such a blessing in our Sunday School class. God’s Shekinah glory continues to shine all around you. Your technical assistance and interaction with our Sunday School teachers is truly appreciated. Zoom has a lot of hiccups.
