God Extends An Invitation To His Housewarming

I’m grateful that God sent me an invitation to his housewarming, but with all the airline plane delays, and cancellations, I wonder just how long it will take me to get there. I’m suppose to receive a crown.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me in an unusual way this week. At first I thought I was receiving messages to blog about the seventh day of creation called the Sabbath. For it is written, that was the day God “Rested” from all of his labors of creating the universe. But as I began to unpack this thesis, I soon realized that the Sabbath was not a day made for God to take his ease. But it was designed as an anointed time period (without end) for God’s people, who live in this world, to come to themselves and commence (on a daily basis) to live their lives as the following 3 bible scriptures proclaim and turn from their sins, so as not to be ruled by the snares of the evil one (Satan). In other words, the day that you repent and turn from your labor of sin and shame, that is your day of Sabbath. God’s ‘work’ was finished within 6 days and it was all good, so he took a day of rest (his Sabbath).

Luke 9:23 

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me (Jesus, God’s Son), let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Matthew 19:21  

Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Galatians 2:20 

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Those persons who Romans 12:2 talk about, who are also in the world that God created but have not conformed to his will and to his ways and whose hearts and minds have not been renewed and therefore they are refusing to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, they remain under the influences of the prince of this world (Satan).

5 Categories Of Believers In Heaven Will Receive Crowns

My child, whenever you performed missionary duties that included talking about Jesus to someone who was not a Christian or who did not know Christ, your actions were often referred to as being a soul-winner. Did you know that there is a crown awaiting such servants in heaven known as The Crown of Rejoicing? (1 Thessalonians 2:19 KJV)

The Holy Spirit spoke again and reminded me of my recent doctor’s appointment I had earlier in the week. Do you recall the excitement your nurse attendant had as she related to you how obliging her patients had been all day as she shared her love for Christ. How she admitted that serving Jesus Christ was her true profession and how she longed to make heaven her eternal home. You see, my beloved, many people become so caught up in earthly activities that they forget that heaven is truly their home. The Crown of Righteousness is not for them. (2 Timothy 4:8 KJV)

Another category in which Jesus will award crowns is to all those believers who have kept the faith at the expense of loosing their own lives. It also includes those servants who suffered persecution and even temptation. They, most assuredly, will receive The Crown of Life. (James 1:12 and Revelations 2:10 KJV)

Sometimes even believers loose out on receiving their crown because of a lack of self-discipline. They don’t know when to say “No!” They get caught up in “the good things in life”, and forget about all God’s benefits. Only those who can exercise discipline will receive The Victor’s Crown. (1 Corinthians 9:25-27 KJV)

Finally, just to remind you of one of Jesus’ quotes in Matthew 9:37, where he said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Let us not forget the crown that will be awarded to the faithful leaders of the churches: pastor’s, elder’s, deacons, Sunday School teachers, and various other ministry leaders. This group of followers of Christ will receive The Crown of Glory. (1 Peter 5:4 KJV)

The Lord says, My prayer invitation for you has already been signed, sealed and delivered by St. Francis of Assisi. Bring a copy of it with you when you come to My housewarming. It reads; “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.“

Scripture Lesson: “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them” (Matthew 6:31-32).

Such as he possessed telepathic abilities, too

That would have allowed him to communicate with the dead.

Have mercy, Jesus!!!

If only the believers in Jesus Christ would take time and seriously study the Word of God. Only then would they discover the true meaning of Leviticus 19:31: “Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them.” Also, the Bible says channeling is abhorrent to God, and the spirits who respond to channelers are satanic. So why not let the dead bury the dead?

Speaking of being ‘defiled’, I found several incidences in Thomas Edison’s life that proved to be self-serving prophecies. First, in his biography it is recorded that his experiments performed in the basement of his home often exploded and frightened the heebie-jeebies out of his family members. Now that could have been a fore-warned sign.

Secondly, Thomas was afflicted with Scarlet Fever at an early age which caused hearing losses in both ears. Perhaps that infirmity, too, could have been a sign for him to stop listening to false doctrines and for him to plant his feet on solid ground. So, who’s to say Thomas was not forewarned during his lifetime to avoid the road he chose to travel on. (Only God knows.) Those who have ears, let him hear what thus says the Lord.

My Prayer for you…

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank and praise You for the unique body you gave to mankind. And we particularly thank You, Dear Jesus, for our communicable facial features: two eyes, two ears, two intake nostrils and one mouth. But right now, Lord, I want to pray especially for those instructions You gave to our ears.

For in Matthew 11:15 You admonished us in a parable by saying, “Those who have ears to hear, let them hear”. Since You and You alone are sorely aware of how few of your people take the Word seriously and pursue an understanding of it, please allow the aide of the Holy Spirit to take residence in our hearts as it implants Your Word in the churches. And we promise to give You all the praise, honor and glory. For we know that since God the Father raised his Son, Christ Jesus, from the dead, He will do the same for all those who believe in Him. Amen and Amen!

Did you know, my friends, that intended evil deeds can eventually become intended good deeds in God’s hands?

Who knew?

Certainly not the people in New York or any other American city on that horrific Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001. For as you know, on an annually bases, every September 11, we commiserate this attack on the United States of America, which was carried out by a militant Islamist group known as al-Qaeda. A series of four coordinated attacks were planned, but one failed.

This particular year, 2021, should be especially notable for Christians who like to equate such memorial events to biblical prophesies and related scriptures. For we are reminded in Hebrews 13:14 (NIV) “For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.“

Another biblical comparison to the timing of this event that we are celebrating during 2021 are the events that occurred in Genesis 37:1-36. There we find the tragic events around Joseph being sold into slavery by his own brothers. Just like the events of 9/11, this incident, too, was meant for evil, but God meant it for good.

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20

Joseph’s brothers thereafter had to live their lives in fear filled with lies and deceptions. However, Joseph’s life found fulfillment and rewards and eventually his life flourished in the midst of this tragedy with only a few exceptions. For 20 years later after being abandant by his brothers, they had to come to him in Egypt for judgement.

Just how did Joseph flourish in the midst of tragedy imposed by his brothers? We don’t have to speculate. Some 20 years later the roles were reversed. Joseph was now the overseer of Pharaoh’s Egypt. Joseph was the strong one and his brothers the weak ones. They came to him in dread for their survival. They feared he would settle the score and throw them into a pit of his own making. But Joseph didn’t. And in his explanation we find solace in his inspirational forgiveness statement quoted in Genesis 50:20.

This year, 2021, marks 20 years since that dreadful day when America lost so many lives and uprooted so many families and generations to come. Let us remember to keep the faith and to hold on to God’s unchanging hand and give place for the words in Hebrews 13:14. For every true Christian should be looking forward to that blessed city not made by hands.

Christians! If you are in a night of trial, think on these things; cheer up, nourish your heart with thoughts of the coming Savior. Be patient for ‘Lo, I am with you always,’ saith the Lord Almighty!

God…What Time Is It?

And God said: “My time is not your time.”

Sometimes you just gota know.  Yes, you just want to know what time it is…especially when it has to do with Eschatology.  The definition of Eschatology is the study of what the Christian Bible says is going to happen when this world comes to an end.  End time prophecy is sprinkled throughout the verses in the Bible, but the main biblical chapters that compiles the most information about this mystery is found in the Book of Revelations, followed closely by the Book of Daniel.

Currently, my bible study group is reading and praying over the verses in the Book of Revelations, and while I was studying and meditating over Chapter 19, the Holy Spirit blessed me with the most revealing interpretation of verse 19:7 which reads:  “Let us rejoice and be glad.  For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready .”

Now, I’m just sayin’…this early morning encounter with the Holy Spirit was completely ‘out of the blue’ and certainly  unexpected.  The Spirit said to me STOP! In the Name of Love and understand what you are reading.  A marriage is about to take place.  Who is getting married and to whom or to what?

Spontaneously, I spoke out loud and said, The Lord Jesus Christ is about to celebrate in marriage His reign over government rule, along with His gift of salvation! For to me, that was the “what“. (Read Revelations 19:2. ) Immediately, my thoughts went to Isaiah 9:6, and John 3:16-17.

“For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be upon his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  Isaiah 9:6  

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.   For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him [by receiving His gift of Salvation] shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”  John 3:16-17.  

While Jesus Christ lived on earth, you will recall that the Lord spoke these words to His disciples:  “Jesus said to them, ‘Render to Caesar (the Government) the things that are Caesar’s, and to God (Spiritual things) the things that are God’s.’”  Mark 12:17

At that time, the Israelites thought Jesus came to earth to overtake the Roman government through war tactics and if He did, the Israelites would be exempt from paying Roman taxes.  But It was not within God’s timing for his Son to annihilate “Babylon” (governments) just then, and institute Jesus’ Second Coming as predicted in Revelations.

So, once again, I am asking (having a conversation) with the Holy Spirit…then, what time is it?

Dear Readers of this blog…I don’t know if you also have these kinds of in-depth conversations with our God, but I do.  True, I veered off from the type of blog post I usually write each week, but I ask that you forgive me.  Perhaps the interpretation I received from the Holy Spirit for Revelations 19:7 is way off the mark according to what the scholarly biblical Eschatologists believe.  And I get that!  But I’m just sayin’… that explanation is what the Holy Spirit gave me.

What Does “No One Knows the Day or Hour” Mean
As you read God’s Word ask him to give credence and understanding to its meaning; Make sure it aligns with the Lord’s will.

Dear Heavenly Father, I read in Psalm 130 where David said that he called to You from the depths of his crises. And that he put his faith in You and trusted You and also waited for Your fulfillment of Your Word.  That’s my prayer, too, Precious One.  Not only for myself, Lord, but for all those who call upon Your Holy and All-knowing Name as their Counselor.  For my research tells me, My Lord, that while You were here on earth, approximately 200 times trick questions were asked of You, but You only gave direct answers to about 3 of them.  So, therefore, Dear Jesus, I await patiently, for You to make it plain to me the revelations of Revelations.  And in the meantime, I will continue to study and pray to show myself approved.  I ask it all in the precious Name of Christ Jesus.  Amen and Amen!
