Christian retreats are held all over the world…especially retreats for women lay persons and women ministers. Needless to say, in many countries, women ministers are not permitted to preach or instruct men in their sphere of influence. Consequently, although these attendees may realize they have a greater responsibility to present the Word to the family of God as well as to the lost, they may not take their calling seriously enough. In this conversation, God wants to re-anoint them a second time like he did King Saul (1 Samuel 11:14, 15). All female ministers are to be empowered in the Name of Jesus to walk circumspectly in the world (Ephesians 5:15); to be just in their dealings and faithful in their engagements (Luke 16:10); and exemplary in the manner in which they speak to one another (1 Timothy 5:4). This message is also for any other servant manager who carries God’s word to the world. |
Attendees: This is a great moment. For this time has been set aside for us, the congregational sisters, to offer blessings for you, the Ministers of God, who are among us. WHAT SAITH THOU?
Ministers: Dear Sisters, we graciously receive your good tidings, and we humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, for he will lift us up. James 4:10
Attendees: Even so, Beloveds, in the Name of Jesus we desire to bless those who bring the gospel of peace and glad tidings of good things to the world. Because as you know, not all will hear and obey nor will they believe your report. It is for this reason that you may become weary in well doing. That’s why we take this opportunity to ask God to bless you in your humility and be your refuse and your strength. Romans 10:15, 16
Ministers: Thank you for your loving kindness, dear ones. You are right. For just like in the days of old, there are those who refuse to accept the God who will make them holy and this is a burden in our hearts. Jeremiah 13:10, 11
Attendees: Well, we have come to encourage you in this matter. Take the prophets of old, who spoke in the Name of the Lord. Let their lives be an example of suffering and patience. Indeed, God counts them blessed who endure. James 5:10, 11
Ministers: Strange you should mention patience. That is the one area of our lives we are having the most difficulty with. All of us are in a state of pursuits. Some are pursuing higher forms of wisdom and knowledge; others are pursuing a preaching ministry in new surroundings; and still others are seeking a clearer understanding of God’s call on their lives. Maybe God is trying to tell us something through you. Matthew 6:33
Attendees: Yes, he is! Praise God! You are being blessed right now with the crown of life and you do not realize it. For God says as long as your pursuits incorporate the implanted word, your souls will be saved. Additional blessings will be bestowed upon you, too, once you complete your pursuits and commence actually performing the works which you have learned. James 1:12, 21, 25
Ministers: God’s call on our lives to feed his sheep, and to feed you, our dear sisters, would let us do nothing less than to couple our faith with works. Because in so doing we LIVE! James 2:17
Attendees: Well spoken, Ministers. For truly faith without works is dead. Likewise, God’s blessings for you are never ending. James 2:26
Would you believe, my elect Ministers, that God desires to bless even your body parts that are used in the fulfillment of his service: For his word says…”Blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear.” And, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” And, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things. Matthew 13:16; 5:8; Romans 10:15
He has blessed your womb, too,…for he has blessed your children within you. Psalm 147:31
But remember, blessings and cursings come out of the mouth so it is best you use this member with caution. James 3:10
But most importantly…Blessed is [she] who comes in the name of the Lord. For surely you have not only been called, but chosen. Matthew 21:9
Ministers: Hallelujah to his Name! Our cry to the Lord is this; that he might continue to mold and shape our character so that we may be used of him. Initially, we did not choose you, Dear Master, but you have pre-ordained and chosen us and by your supernatural powers, we yield. John 15:16
Attendees: Likewise, our anointed ones, we yield by saying…blessed are the ministers whom God chose and caused to come into his courts. Psalms 65:4
