THANKING GOD FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT…IN SONG

Dear Heavenly Father:

First of all, I want to thank You for a day and time I have never experienced before. Even during the night You were softly speaking to me and ushering me in and out of dreams, tomorrow was not promised. Upon awakening, You continued to converse with me and placed it upon my heart to retrieve an unread book from my bookcase entitled, Tonight, We Wrestle, by Donald Wright.

The reason for my gratitude is because You knew that I was worrying about the writing style of my own unpublished book and wondering if that was the reason why more than five publishing houses had rejected it. However, I was encouraged as I leafed through the pages of Mr. Wright’s book. His writing style is a carbon copy of my own. Oh, Lord, Your influence in Mr. Wright’s writing style is identical to Your influence with me. How I rejoiced as I viewed the format and read the intimate conversations Mr. Wright recorded between You and his protagonist.

What this observation/revelation was saying to me was that you hold time and events in Your hands. Nothing further will happen to my book entitled, Conversations With God Using Scriptures, until you ordain it. So I say, so be it!

Thank You Lord, for Your care and devotion to Your creation, and forgive me for my lack of faith in You as my Spiritual Editor. Amen

BEFORE I SAY GOOD NIGHT, MY LORD, I HAVE ONE MORE PRAYER I WOULD LIKE TO RE-DEDICATE TO YOU….IT GOES LIKE THIS:

“My prayer For Myself in My Heavenly Calling To Teach God’s Word!”

1. To be entrusted with the Gospel.
2. To be approved by God
3. To have my heart tested by God.
4. Not to seek praises from men.
5. Not to be afraid to share personal experiences as God has dealt with me.
6. To be an effective instrument whose teaching is anointed and causes the hearer to learn, understand and apply.
