God Is Everything To Me

When is it your time to use God’s strength? Do you not know that God is sovereign over all of your circumstances. So why not humble yourself, repent, and follow God’s leading. That was the conversation I had with myself and the Holy Spirit this week. My life had been going so well with me during these past few months that I found myself leaning more and more on my own understanding instead of God’s.

Shame, shame on me! I know better. I know how the enemy worms his way into a person’s thoughts and decision-making and before you realize it…you are on a slippery slop to the Abyss. So, when I came to myself, I began to call on the Holy Spirit to forgive me and to keep my feet planted on solid ground. So, after I sent out my clarion call, this was heaven’s response:

Yes, if you have enough scriptures inside of you they will begin to flood your mind and heart and you will recognize which is the Holy Spirit’s voice and which is the enemy’s voice. God surfaced into my mind the epithet he had planted in my heart so many years ago: “Wisdom is the principal thing: Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

So, that is the basic subject matter I want to plant into your hearts for this week’s blog. Has the Holy Spirit planted an epithet into your heart. In other words, what will be written on your tombstone. What life-direction bible verse (message) has the Holy Spirit planted into your psychic! May I suggest that while the blood is still running warm in your veins that you prayerfully seek this information. What ever the message (verse) given, it will surely direct and keep your feet planted squarely on solid ground.

God’s Explanation Of: “What’s Love Got To Do With It?”

But first, take a 3 minute listen to how the late Diva, Tina Turner, expresses this highly misunderstood emotion. Just click below the title: YouTube • Tina Turner

Have you ever stopped to think what it cost you to just live each day in a world filled with slow-burning anger, discontentment and a debilitating disposition filled with discuss towards your fellow man and others whom you have no idea who they are? Just think about it!! Mad at the world, fed up with our political systems, cajoling you to engage in acts that you know would not be pleasing to yourself or to your Maker in the end.

Thanks be to God there are holy scriptures that can help you overcome these deep-seated and destructive feelings.

Don’t you know, that if you don’t do anything about your ill-gotten feelings, you will pay a horrible price in the end and your overall health could also become detrimental to your life expectancy. The choice is up to you.

When we choose to serve one another in love, it could mean that we have to spend more time with them and try to get an understanding as to why they say and do the things they do. If it is at all possible, we can ask them how they came to their conclusions concerning the matter. Scripture, also reminds us that we, too, can bring along another resource person of our choosing to help navigate the issue.

If religion, nationality, gender or physical impairment is the stumbling block, enabling the meeting of the minds, seek professional guidance before kicking your brother or sister to the wind.

By doing so, we have put aside condemnation, judgement and criticism towards our fellow man. What’s left is a realization of peace, love and joy for our fellow man and that we are also at peace with our Maker.

Following is my own personal experience when I had ‘OUGHT’ against my brother…

There is no doubt as to what the word ‘ought’ means in this context. It clearly speaks to the fact that a person (me for instance) has offended someone. My offense happened while on an international mission trip to South Africa some years ago. I was presenting a biblical lesson to a group of African men and women on the Bible verses in Matthew 5:23 & 24. All the while I was speaking, an elderly gentleman in the front row was mumbling out loud in his native language and was becoming very agitated and disturbing. Next to him sat his young grandson who was trying to comfort his grandfather and calm him down.

Finally, I had no other choice but to halt my discussion, approach the young lad and inquire what his grandfather was saying. The boy responded that his grandfather was sadden because what he had done could not be undone. He had stolen a chicken from his neighbor, cooked and fed the chicken to his family and now, due to your teaching, it is impossible to return it.

NOW I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE…

It was not until I had finished writing this blog today that the Holy Spirit nudged me and said, “My child, you are the guilty one. To this day, you have never asked Me for forgiveness for your selfish, insensitive, reaction to my servant in Africa. While the old gentleman received a blessing by hearing the Word of God and obtaining a better understanding of the Word, he asked for forgiveness and received it from Me. In his outbursts, he was thanking Me. However, you have never returned to Me and asked for forgiveness for having ‘ought’ against the old man for interrupting and disturbing your teaching! WHILE ALL THE TIME, IT WAS THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVING COMFORT, UNDERSTANDING AND INCREASE INTO HIS WORD TO THIS GRANDFATHER!

You’d better believe, that before I went to bed, I fell on my knees and ask the Lord to forgive me for my slothfulness and disrespect for HIS teaching. (Back in the day, when I was much younger, I now realize that I may have robbed God of a lot of repentance prayers and praises for His awesomeness, protection and patience with me while acting on His behalf.) May I never forget that it is God Who gives the increase! Amen.

God’s Super Autobiography of Jesus Christ

(As Interpreted From Matthew 5:9-13, NKJ and spoken in three voices…The Father,…(the Son)and the Holy Spirit.)

Our Father in Heaven, (I have come down from heaven…)

There are many gods of this world.  But I am talking about my Father (yours and mine) who lives in that Holy Habitation called heaven.           Psalm 68:5

Hallowed be your Name.  (…to endorse everything I have made…)

Jesus is saying may the Name of God (also Jesus’ Name) be written or carved into and onto everything which he has made, both in heaven and on earth.  In the Old Testament, after King Solomon had completed the Lord’s House, using the Lord’s blueprint, the Lord “spoke” to Solomon and said, “I have hallowed this house which you have built, to put my Name there forever.”    1 Kings 9:3

Your Kingdom come.  (I am here!  Look at me!  I am the Kingdom predicted to come.)

Jesus says, I am talked about throughout the Old Testament.  Somebody was always saying the kingdom will be established.  My Father promised I would come through the house of David.  “Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever.”                              1 Kings 9:5

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  (Obey me and do my will.)

Yes, I have created you in my image and because I have a free will, you, too, have a free will.  Use it and obey.  Adam misused his will and was driven out of Eden.  The angel Lucifer also misused his will and was cast out of heaven.                                                                                Genesis 3:23, 14; Revelations 12:9

God’s will alone now reigns in heaven.  It is down here on earth, where I have come, that things are all messed up.

Give us this day our daily bread. (Recognize me as your all in all.)

Accept me today because I am the Bread of Life, says Jesus.  Pray that I might become real in your life.  Digest my teachings.  Digest me.  Eat me and you will never be hungry again.  But best of all, you will never die.  I repeat, “I Am the Bread of Life.”  John 6:35

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  (Repent!)

Be ever so careful when you include these words in your prayer.  Don’t forfeit your prayer to the Father because you went down on your knees before you went to your brother or sister and asked for forgiveness.      Luke 11:4

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.  (Stop judging folk!  Accept them!  Accept Me!)

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.                            Matthew 6:14, 15

For Yours is the Kingdom, (I have told you once and I am telling you again.  It is me they were talking about!)

I am the authority now.  My Father has crowned me, “The Word of God”.  You must receive me as King before you can enter into the Kingdom of my Father, says the Lord.                                                         Revelations 19:16

And the power, (Try me.  Test me.  Prove me.  Use me.)

If God is for you, no man can be against you.  Because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.     1 John 4;4

And the glory, (The secret is no more.  The mystery is cleared up.)

The mystery of who is coming to save and redeem mankind is cleared up.  I am the glorious One the world has been waiting for.              John 3:16

Forever, (Wise up world!)

You will pass away.  Your works will pass away.  But what I am telling you is that my Word shall last for all times.         Isaiah 40:8

Amen.  (So be it.)

Scripture Reference:  Philippians 2:5-7  “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:…”
