Isn’t it wonderful and a blessing when out of the blue the Holy Spirit desires to converse with you and ask, “So, how are you today and what are your needs? Do you wish to speak with the Almighty? For as you know, He is the Alpha and Omega. What is your pleasure, my child?
Sometimes when we pray for a specific need, it is respectful and praiseworthy to address our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by specific titles given Him in scriptures. So, for this week’s blog, I have put together a 3-column chart (below) listing a specific need, a biblical title for Jesus that represents that need and where in the Holy Bible that specific scripture can be found. I often practice this method of prayer and I can attest to the fact that you will find tranquility and peace in your conversations with God using Scriptures.

| I need advice | Counselor | Isaiah 9:6 |
| I need food | Bread of Heaven | John 6:32-33 |
| I need a better life | Bread of Life | John 6:35 |
| Person to stand with me | Advocate | 1 John 2:1 |

| Leniency | God the Judge of All | Hebrews 12:23 |

| I’m sad; depressed | Brightness of Glory | Hebrews 1:3 |
| I’m lost; no hope | Captain of Salvation | Joshua 5:14 |

Good morning!
What a great way to start the morning worshipping you Lord as Alpha and Omega! I worship you oh Lord and you are so so worthy to be praised.
Sister Fowler thanks for providing the list we can call our Lord and Savior’s Jesus Christ by specific titles given Him in scriptures during specific needs and requests.
Love you!

Hopefully, readers will use the list often until it becomes habit forming. Ironically, when people speak to one another they always identify the subject they wish to converse about. Why not afford the Holy Spirit the same courtesy? The more we recognize just Who Jesus is, the closer we melt His heart and cause His angles to shout, “Hallelujah”!

I love the chart, and I did copy it for future use. I was studying Psalm 4 this week and was reminded that God gets joy from answering our prayers. We know his word is special to him and He says it will not return void. Praying the word is a wonderful way to connect with God. Thanks for the work you put into helping us grow.

God guarantees that His word will not return to Him void. God does not lie. Thanks for directing my attention to Psalm 4. We are truly on the same wave link. To God be the glory.
